Yirminci Yüzyılın başlarındaki Fransız, “Golden Era” diye de
bilinen Belle Epoque’dan esinlenerek hazırladık Yaz 2013 Koleksiyonumuzu.
Dönemin öncülerinden bohem akımının etrafı sarmasıyla ve tabii Absinth’in
etkisiyle yeşil periler ve daha nice sürreal yaratıklar görünmeye başlamıştı.
We are inspired from the famous early 20th century (as the French
would say) Golden Era, Belle Epoque.
With the sensational Bohemianism around the air and with the help of bitter
Absinth taste in their mouths, the green
fairies and other different surreal
world of wonders were in the air. Belle
Epoques bohememian artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec helped us understand the eras
sence of culture. After victorian era, fluffy skirts and huge shoulders
transformed into tight beaded long dresses, silk gloves, generously big jewels.
And the essence of oriantalism mixed with surrealism became awfully popular... In
some of the DB BERDAN designs you can also see romantism which is also another
trend in the Golden Era. You will see in our collection a range of pastel tint
colors, french laces and silk chiffons.
Generally you can see different people from the history of life in
our collections. This time we have used Mata Hari in one of our prints. Our
prints were collaborated with the Turkish illustrator Merve Morkoç. She had
helped us transform our dream prints into reality. Our prints shows the
surrealism of the golden era. Also, rabbit headed carousel shows the fun side
of the collection which is also surreal.
Smooth texture that you can feel when you touch the surface of our
fabric that has also made our prints bright. We always have a vintage feeling
in our collection and this time we have used the beading technique with printed
fabrics and used pearls with prints toghether. Making them look like a piece of
jewelery. We have also used, that we thought it would be a part of our theme,
gems and pearls. We have used the detailed workmenship, beading techniques to
make smooth transitions to continue the feeling of the smoothness. We love
using handworkmanship and we generally love using it in our collections.
Genel olarak bazı BD Berdan tasarımlarında pastel tonların, Fransız dantellerinin, ipek şifon ve işlemelerin kullanıldığı dönemi yansıtan romantizm de görülmekte.
Sürreali destekleyen desenlerimizi İllüstratör Merve Morkoç yaptı.
Genel olarak koleksiyonlarımızda tarihsel figürleri de kullanabiliyoruz. Veya aşağıdaki mayoda da kullandığımız dönemi yansıtan erkek figürü aslında belli bir kimliği olmayan ve koleksiyonumuz kısmen Edwardian'dan geldiği için Edward ismini taktığımız bir karakter:)
Koleksiyon feminen olmakla birlikte sürreal ve punk izlerini görebilmek mümkün. Modellerimizi klasik güzellikte değil, kendi çizgimize daha uygun gördüğümüz karakteristik özellikte ve androjen modellerden seçtik.
Bu defa içinde Mata Hari’nin de bulunduğu desenler o dönemin sürrealliğini yansıtıyor.
Ayrıca desenlerde tavşan kafalı Carousel dönemi yansıtırken sürreal oluşuyla da hem eğlenceli hem de koleksiyonu destekleyici nitelikte.
Çizgimizde var olan vintage etkisini bu defa desenlerin üzerini işlediğimiz incilerle destekledik.
Desen işleme birlikteliğini seviyoruz ve çok kullanıyoruz.
